Led by Hannah Colbert, E-RYT & Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Educator, this Yin Yoga Teacher Training is a winter immersion designed to honor the stillness of the season while preparing you to confidently curate and lead transformative Yin Yoga classes for practitioners of all levels.
With over a decade of teaching experience and a deep passion for Yin Yoga, Hannah brings together the wisdom of tradition, the lens of modern methodology, and a trauma-informed approach to create a training that is both practical and inspiring.
This training is open to all - whether you are a dedicated practitioner seeking to deepen your personal practice, or an experienced teacher expanding your toolkit. Over the course of three weekends, we will journey through the foundations of Yin, explore the depths of anatomy and energetics, and emerge into renewal with the confidence to guide others through the medicine of stillness.
Curriculum Highlights:
The roots of Yin Yoga: philosophy, history, and the balance of yin + yang
Functional anatomy + fascia: alignment, asanas, and accessible alternatives
Elemental theory + TCM meridians: water, wood, fire, earth, and metal in practice
The energetic body: chakras, koshas, and prana as pathways of awareness
Trauma + the body: meeting embodied emotions with compassion and care
Props + modifications: cultivating inclusive, supportive spaces for every body
Creative sequencing + themes: building classes that feel both grounding and inspiring
Language + presence: cueing, space-holding, and the subtle art of guiding stillness
Whether you are drawn to Yin for its philosophy, its medicine, or its quiet invitation to pause, this training offers a sanctuary to learn, embody, and ultimately share the transformative power of Yin Yoga.
