Winter Solstice Yoga + Sound Bath
Join Chrissy and Zoe at Dóchas House of Yoga for a journey into Yuletide through gentle, slow movement, guided solstice meditation, and sound healing.
The gestational time between Samhain and Winter Solstice is deep and dark, lit only by the light from within. We wait patiently, incubating like a seed beneath the cover of frozen earth. From this place of darkness and retreat, the first rays of returning solar light emerge at Winter Solstice, shining the light from without. Although Solstice is the darkest night of the year, the light grows stronger each day afterwards.
At this time, we are called to fill our emotional cups with yuletide cheer and to celebrate hearth, home, and community. The tide turns at Solstice, and we quietly take our first steps out of dormancy and into the reborn light.
Nourish yourself at this time around the winter solstice with a deep and restorative savasana, supported by reiki energy, will close your practice. No experience is necessary, all are welcome to join us!

Kirtan: Music + Sacred Chants
Join Jaya Madhava Das (aka James Cennamo) at Dóchas House of Yoga for an evening of live music, ecstatic chants, and community! Join us to experience the depth of the yoga practice through chanting!
Kirtan comes from the Bhakti tradition of yoga: a lineage of devotion, sound, and song, rather than physical postures (asana). Kirtan is a call and response form of chanting mainly compromised of Sanskrit mantras. When chanting these mantas, we call out to the Divine. Mantra is a Sanskrit word composed of two sounds: “man” means mind and “tra” means to cross over or protect. Kirtan means “to speak of” or “to mention”. The world is sound.
All that is manifest proceeds from sound and continues to pulsate at sound vibration. There are no hard and fast rules for chanting! If you feel like chanting, go ahead, and if not, enjoy the chanting. This is community chanting, and an opportunity to be open together in community in a sacred space.

Restore + Release: Slow Flow with Cupping
Move slowly, breathe deeply, and allow your body to unwind. Join Natalie and Michelle of Dóchas House of yoga for a workshop that blends gentle, intentional slow flow and restorative postures, offering space to soften the body and settle the mind. As the practice transitions into an extended savasana, Michelle will offer optional therapeutic cupping: supporting circulation, physical release, and a deeper nervous system reset.
Rooted in slowness, presence, and care, this experience invites you to rest, receive, and reconnect with yourself. No experience necessary, all are welcome to join us!

Yin + Yang Beachfront Yoga + Ocean Plunge
Awaken your inner sun on the longest day of the year as we gather at Devereux Beach to honor the Summer Solstice! Harrison and Hannah's seasonal Yin + Yang offering takes the beach for a summer solstice practice that merges the fiery spark of Kundalini, the fluid grace of vinyasa, and the cooling stillness of yin yoga, inviting you to dance the eternal rhythm of yin and yang energy.
Expect guided breathwork, kriyas, mantra, movement and meditative stillness to ignite your panic energy. We'll conclude class with an optional ocean plunge!
